The valve was the STARR-EDWARDS.

Dr. Albert Starr was the first Cardiac surgeon to successfully implant an artificial valve in a human being. Lowell Edwards a pioneer in Cardiac several years older came to Dr Starr to discuss an artificial heart, Dr. Starr suggested a valve first . I posted about this several days ago and it disappeared -was in wrong area only use 140 characters+oooops.
I had an incident just sitting at a table , heart took off hard beats 5-6 of them and as I have a 4 month old pacemaker
set at 60 , heart was doing 128 which scared me I went to ER and was admitted -for low potassium , mine has always been 4 to 4.3, so I wasn't thinking about that . It was under 3 when admitted and 2 1/2 days later it was 3.8 . I had a re-check in 7…Continue
