HI Graeme....had my new valve put in on wednesday the 9th....and when my heart didnt wake up by friday, they implanted a Medtronic pacemaker....I am home now....tired and resting and recovering...thanks so much for caring and Ill stay…

HI Laura.....im 9 days from surgery and agonizing over what type of valve to go with....im leaning toward the mechanical because of my age and the fact i dont engage in any high risk activities, so i dont feel that coumadin will be a big problem for…
