done...finally

It's been a long time but I have finally had the op and am now back at home. Thanks for all the messages from everyone. It beens a long time as unfortunatley I had complications (which are rare!). Had the heart surgery on the 27th June which went really well. Recovery was quick and they were talking about sending me home after 5 days. Unfortunately my own heart rate was not recovering once the pacing was switched off so they kept me in for it to recover. It didn't so I had to have a…

wil I, won't I

Been called in again. I'll be travelling down this evening for potential op tomorrow. Petrified as always but really hoping that it's not cancelled again as I just want to get over this hurdle now, get it out the way and concentrate on recovery.

Thanks for everyones advice and hopefully I'll be back soon with stories of the op.

Best wishes to everyone,

Neil

5th time lucky??

Yep, you've guessed it..cancelled.

They wanted me to go back the next day early for a op the following day..I refused and said that I would come in on the evening (as I have been admitted now..and end up just sitting there getting stressed) just as well as that one was cancelled too!

Tried my best to just switch off this weekend..just waiting for that call now.

Whats the 'post op sneeze!?'

Hope everyone is well. Speak soon,

Neil
