hi tracie ,hows things goin hun,im up and down like always.been for my bloods today and its drop to 1.40 so ive been put on 7mg till i go thurs.so im finkin wll it get in the range the heart dr sed,it does get u done,cause 1 min u fink ur over it and the nxt somefink else happen,im at the hosp to c my surgeon on the 7 feb and the will be doin a few test ,so it says in the letter .just hope that both the vaives r ok.but u always fink wot if there not and ive ad a few pains goin on it my heart .so we c fingers cross,anyway tracie let me no how u r hun xxxx

aw bless u tracie .it so hard to get my head around everyfink that happen to me iin oct of last year.i was bringin blood up with my sick and this white froth .so my lungs was full of fluid and they gave me alsorts of drugs to get the fluid down.which they did do well.but my lung collapse after my op.which i will say that was the worst of the lot of it.mayb it was just me .but wen they put that lung drain in .i never felt pain like it,and i was cryin like a baby .so hard for us people as it affects u in diffrent ways .but good luck with it hun and let us no how u get on xxx

sorry ur not good did they say wot it is on ur lung.i no with my lungs it was the heart fluid goin into my lungs,i do hope ur ok ,cause its a hard time noin theres somefink else happenin,i had mini stroke  after my heart valves being replaced,and i thought wot more is goin to happen to me.let me know how u get on hun  xxxx

hi tracie thank u for ur message i am so glad ur much better i am on day 13 still a long way too go !!! but i feeling better each day i also had crack but also triple bypass too so u could say the full monty i was so shocked to be told i had heart diseaes as no 1 in my family has any heart problems rumatic fever the doctors say anyways thanx again for ur message mabe we could chat somtime soon!!!... take care my love xxxx.

Thanks for the info, did you go home after the 10 days? If so, did you then get nursing visits or any other support? I have heard so many different things regarding the amount of time it takes to get over an operation like this. When you said the after care was not great did you mean in the hospital for the 10 days, or once you were back home?
