- High there Graeme, thanks for the info, problems is that no one seems to know anything about my heart valve apart from the fact that i have a Bjork shilley 20 mm aortic valve implant i have no card with the details on it regarding the valve and for the first 5 years i was not on any blood thinning meds at all, then when the specialist told me that i would in fact die without he gave me a massive dose of "sinthrone" which caused me 2 bleeds to my brain then 3 more operations to put back my bone flap. i would like to know everything about this valve i have but my records only mention what i have and nothing else so i am stuck cos there is no one else who i can turn too. over the years i have been admitted to the northern gereral hospital with dizzy spells etc but the surgeons are too scared to touch me as they know nothing of this valve
