Hello  to All and a Thank You for the welcome to the MHV forum from Graeme.  This is my first writing . I have been all over this site ~~~reading blogs , video surgery's , ~~members list. Couldn't stop long enough to check in !

I am glad to have found this site ~~~"nice"  as there was nothing ~~no computers or friends with same condition to talk with when i had a mitral valve replaced in 1974.  That will be 38 years ago in Feb. 2012.

I am doing great , have no restrictions, I have a home INR meter, it saves trips to the lab and I am in control.   My latest news is a Pacemaker implanted Nov. 2011.  I am sure the heart was due a boost !

For Now ~~~Happy New Year !

Hi Anne (again!)

What Anne has not told members is that she has had her MHV for - by my reckoning - over 37 years! Now thats something to be REALLY proud of!

Go Anne!

cheers
