Living with a Mechanical Heart Valve: Click.Tick.Thump. Love It!

Support Group for Mechanical & Artificial Heart Valve Surgery & Using Warfarin

Hi All

The operation was a great success, the only bad part for me were the mild hallucinations whilst in intensive care. The team at clinique Pasteur  http://www.clinique-pasteur.com/front  were fabulous  they made each step of the journey as confortable as possible.

I have now been transfred to my « centre de readaptaion at midi gascongne »  http://www.midi-gascogne.com/  today is day 1 – I start with a light gymnastic warm up, then an accompanied walk, and finaly back to the gym for relaxation techniques. Afternoon bike assesment then a light walk.

Thanks to you all for your support and encouragement. Bises Kevin

Hi Kevin, Great to hear from you. You sound happy - fantastic. I too had hallucinations for the first approx 4days, not fun!

Looking forward to hearing more progress reports.

Best wishes

Martina
