Artificial Heart Valve Surgery & Living with Warfarin: UK Info Support Group
Hi everyone.
I am not sure what I am doing at the moment as I thought I had already posted on this site' twice' but I cant seem to find where the posts are. I am a bit of a computer biff but hopefully this will now post correctly. I had an AD and Aortic Valve replacement 9 weeks ago and am recovering well. I struggle to get used to the loud tick from the valve but it is early days yet. I find the feeling of heavy butterfly's in my stomach when sitting down a bit disconcerting but I am sure it is just because my stomach is a conduit for the valve noise. Maybe I should lose a bit of the stomach?
The support I have got from this site and the AD site are a real godsend to me as I don't feel such a freak.
Regards
Elaine
