Artificial Heart Valve Surgery & Living with Warfarin: UK Info Support Group
Hi all,
Really glad to have found this place.
My surgery was just about one month ago, and it has been a bumpy road so far.
I can use (and will be extremely grateful for) all the support and info you wish to offer.
One of this days I am going to write a proper introduction with more details, concerns and question.
For now i am just really happy to be accepted as a member.
Thank you.
Wish you all a very happy and very lucky New Year.

implanted in 1974 ~~~that's 38 years of living with one . I have been on coumadin that long also .
I have experienced most anything that goes with having one ! I am doing great ~~~got a pacemaker in NOV 2011, think my heart deserved the boost. I am a new member --just yesterday Jan 16th,
Good luck and a Happy and Great New Year
